This is a special edition of my Ableton Live Pack series.It is in collaboration with about 120 high school students.
As some of you may know, aside from producing, teaching, and writing about music, my day-time gig is a high school English teacher. It turns out to be a very cohesive fit with the rest of my pursuits. Teaching has taught me so much about producing music, and so many of the things I've learned playing music tie in with my work in the classroom. The creative process, whether it is making music and art, or writing, has certain universal properties. By working in these different fields, I'm learning to see those connections and I feel my entire body of work has improved because of it.
