Helipop is a loud and proud hip hop track that makes use of loud sustained synths side chained by its qwerky and provocative rhythm. The use of two kick drums separately in the mix creates a strange blend in the rhythm that really comes alive on bigger monitoring systems. The multiple layers of percussion offer a lot of room for playing with and the synth work is all original so some good patching is on show. This Ableton Live 9 template uses some samples for percussion and the extra aesthetic affect. The Four Tet flutter effect is used aswell as some other re-sampling.
