Logic Pro X Progressive House Template | EDM Sessions EP098
For episode 98 we make music that brings us back to our roots with a progressive house at 128BPM in Logic Pro X from absolute scratch.
We begin by programming drums starting of course with the kick drum, snare and high hats! We then move on to the bass, we land right away on an appropriate preset to create this pryda sounding progressive house. After some tweaking and adding some sidechain compression we are on a roll.
We then record our first melodic element, some pad hits, spaced out, add the perfect balance of smoothness and enhance the groove right away. Our second element is a simple pad synth pattern that sits higher in the frequencies, we then add a send bus with a tape delay to add dimension to the sound.
We continue with the creation of this progressive house anthem by adding some chord hits with a popular preset that represent the true progressive house classic sound. We then move on to record yes more melodic elements that add density and movement to the song.
We then move on with the arrangements and start building the track.
